GYROKINESIS® TRAINING PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program teaches students to conduct both of the classes in the GYROKINESIS® level 1 curriculum- the GYROKINESIS® level 1, 60 minute format class, and the GYROKINESIS® Level 1, 90 minute format class. The 138 hour program is composed of four sequential courses. Students typically begin teaching the GYROKINESIS® method in the role of Apprentice within 3-6 months after beginning the program. It typically takes 1-2 years to complete the full program and become a GYROKINESIS® Trainer.
Those who successfully complete the program are qualified to teach the GYROKINESIS® level 1 exercise curriculum in the role of Certified GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Trainer. Certified GYROKINESIS® Trainers are eligible to enrol in GYROKINESIS® Specialised Courses.
The GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Teacher Training Program begins with the GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Pre-Training Course, which is designed to give you an understanding of the GYROKINESIS® Level 1 exercises, & prepare you physically for the GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Foundation Course that follows. The GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Foundation Course expands on the lessons in the Pre-Training Course, & is also where students learn the teaching skills & techniques specific to the GYROKINESIS® method. The GYROKINESIS® Apprenticeship period follows. During this period, which can last up to one year, Apprentices receive a trademark license allowing them to teach Gyrokinesis level I exercises in the role of GYROKINESIS® Apprentice. Apprentices are required to teach a minimum of 30 GYROKINESIS® classes & to attend a Supervised Apprenticeship Course with a GYROKINESIS® Master Trainer during their apprenticeship period.
The program ends with the GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Final Certificate Course. This is the opportunity for Apprentices to demonstrate their teaching skills and their understanding of the GYROKINESIS® level 1 curriculum. Those who successfully complete this course, by demonstrating a competent understanding of the GYROKINESIS® level 1 course curriculum, are issued a GYROKINESIS® Trainer certification and a trademark use license allowing them to teach the GYROKINESIS® level 1 exercises in the role of GYROKINESIS® Trainer. GYROKINESIS® Trainers are required to fulfil continuing education requirements every two years, and are eligible to register for specialised courses.
