Want to become a GYROTONIC® or GYROKINESIS® trainer?
There are two in-depth teacher training programs available for those interested in teaching the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods.
GYROTONIC® Level 1 Teacher Training Program is available for those interested in becoming a GYROTONIC® Trainer
GYROKINESIS® Level 1 Teacher Training Program is available for those interested in becoming a GYROKINESIS®
After successfully completing one of the Level 1 teacher training programs, Trainers continue to develop their teaching skills by taking specialized courses in the method(s) they are qualified to teach. The GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods are complementary. Some people choose to pursue training in one of the methods, while some study both.
The first step toward becoming a GYROTONIC® or GYROKINESIS® Trainer is taking classes with a certified GYROTONIC® or GYROKINESIS® Trainer.
People typically need to take ten or more GYROTONIC® or GYROKINESIS® sessions before they have enough experience to begin one of the Level 1 teacher training programs. If there is no access to classes in your area, there may be an opportunity to take an Extended GYROTONIC® Pre-Training course which provides an additional three day introduction to the GYROTONIC® Level 1 progression exercises.
Before enrolling in either of the Level 1 teacher training programs, students are required to have a basic understanding of the Level 1 exercises of the method they choose to study.
People typically take at least ten GYROTONIC® classes with a certified GYROTONIC® Trainer before they have enough experience to begin the GYROTONIC® Level I Teacher Training Program.
People typically take at least ten GYROKINESIS® classes with a certified GYROKINESIS® Trainer before they have enough experience to begin the GYROKINESIS® Level I Teacher Training Program.
All GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Trainers are required to renew their trademark license and complete at least one continuing education course every two years in order to maintain their certification.
